August 2019 Preview

Grandstand stays busy as the summer draws to a close this August! We are continuing our work with fairs, shows, expos, festivals, and more, so keep updated with Grandstand to see how our platform is being used throughout the world. Check out the bullets below to check out what we’re working on!

• Santa Clara County Fair: August 1 in San Jose, California, with great entertainment, exhibits, and a kids zone for fun for the whole family. Found in Grandstand - Events & Guides.
• Decatur Celebration: August 1 in Decatur, Illinois. Part of the City Scout Decatur app. Check out more about the app!
• Siskiyou County Fair: August 7 in Yreka, California, with carnival rides, exhibits, and vendors, found in its own standalone app.
• Illinois State Fair: August 8 in Springfield, Illinois, featuring competition results, schedules, photo filters and more for our fourth consecutive year of service. Found in its own standalone app.
• Wyoming State Fair: August 8 in Douglas, Wyoming, with a music festival, Demolition Derby, and a carnival, found in its own standalone app.
• Centre County Grange Fair: August 8 in State College, Pennsylvania. Started in 1874 the Grange Fair features car shows, entertainment, and truck pull and is found in its own standalone app.
• Antelope Valley Fair: August 16 in Lancaster, California with performers, food, and a full carnival, found in its own standalone app.
• Darke County Fair: August 17 in Greenville, Ohio with a cheerleading competition, motorcycle races, and rides, found in the 4-H Now Container App.
• New York State Fair: August 17 in Syracuse, New York with 4-H schedules, facility maps, scavenger hunts, and more. Part of the new New York 4-H standalone app.
• Kitsap Fair: August 21 in Bremerton, Washington with rodeos, exhibits, and concerts, found in its own standalone app.
• Minnesota State Fair: August 22 in St. Paul, Minnesota with food, new attractions, and a goat booth. Coming soon in Minnesota's new container app.
• Brooklyn Fair: August 22 in Brooklyn, Connecticut with attractions for everyone for our third consecutive year of service, found in its own standalone app.
• Westpoint 2019: August 22 in Exeter, Devon, UK for growing community, deepening relationships, and lots of fun, found in its own standalone app.
• Champlain Valley Fair: August 23 in Essex Jet, Vermont with an indoor planetarium, Jason Derulo, and other great entertainment, found in its own standalone app.
• Nebraska State Fair 4-H: August 23 in Grand Island, Nebraska, featured competition results, 4-H schedules, maps, games, and exclusive iPad Kiosks. Full standalone app.
• Bandai at D23: At the D23 Expo on August 23 - 25 in Anaheim, California and at PAX West on August 30 - September 2 in Seattle, Washington, both with an exhibit hall, panels, performances, pin trading, VR, and freeplay, as part of the BNEA app.
