As the new event season approaches, now is the perfect time to get your mobile app ready for launch. Whether you’re working with a returning app or debuting a new one, these steps will help you align your content, branding, and structure with this year’s event plans.
If your event has an updated look for the year—such as a new logo or redesigned homepage—upload the new files so your app reflects your 2025 branding. See how to customize layout & colors →
Update Your Color PaletteMatch your app’s color scheme to this year’s logo or marketing theme. You can use our AI Content-Assist tool to extract a color palette directly from an uploaded image.
Replace Default ImagesIf your app is still using placeholder images for schedules or lists, now’s the time to upload updated versions for this year’s event. Guide to updating default images →
Navigate to Account > Publish App to upload a refreshed app icon if needed. You can also take a screenshot of your app on your device and upload it to replace the promo image shown on your app’s landing page.
Create a new schedule in your Calendar Groups. If you want to reuse last year’s schedule structure, export it, update the dates and times, and reupload. Create & archive schedules → Export to Excel →
ListsSet up new lists for 2025 using clear titles like “2025 Performers” or “2025 Vendors.” You can also export last year’s list data, make your edits, and reupload. Create new list groups → Export list data →
MapsIf your event layout has changed, send your updated map overlay to your Grandstand Rep. Accepted file formats are JPG or PNG, and the longest side should be at least 3000px. If your map is staying the same, review your pins and update as necessary.
Update Key Info PagesReview and revise any pages with event dates, ticket information, contact info, and general details to ensure accuracy for this year.
Once your new content is added, visit the Icons/Menu Management page to update your menu buttons and confirm they’re linking to the correct pages or features. Menu linking guide →
If your app’s name, icon, or description has changed, share those updates with your Grandstand Rep so we can apply them. How to update promo details →
Submit for App Store ApprovalStand-Alone Apps must be submitted for App Store review at least once per year, even if content has only changed slightly. Let your Rep know when your app is ready.
If you’d like help with any of these steps, we offer content updating packages starting at $200 for 2 hours. Contact your Grandstand Rep to get started and ensure your app is ready for a strong 2025 launch.
