May 2022 Launches on Grandstand

A wide range of unique apps were launched by Grandstand Apps this May.

We were extremely delighted that so many large events used our platform, and listed below are the various apps created this past month.

Solid Sound Fest (Massachusetts)

Grandstand was proud to present Wilco's Solid Sound Fest app for the very first year. This three-day festival is full of music, art, and comedy and this app allowed users to keep up to date with artists, schedules, pop-up events, and vendors, so they could have a planned-out, relaxing three days. Over the course of the three days, Solid Sound administrators sent more than 20 targeted push notifications to keep attendees updated on weather cancellations, changes of venue, and highlighted events.

Taco Fest: Music y Más (Texas)

A combination of a music festival and tasty tacos? What more could anyone want? Grandstand was thankful to be able to present all the information for this lively festival, allowing friends and family to rush to their favorite vendors due to our easily accessible app. The app provided a schedule, taco vendors, sponsors, and more! Furthermore, the people’s choice voting was conducted through the app and people got to vote which taco place was the best amongst three categories: traditional, specialty, and people’s choice.

Northwest Folklife Festival (Washington State)

This arts organization brings people together as they celebrate numerous generations of arts, traditions, and cultures of a global Pacific Northwest. Grandstand was excited to present this new app with over 300 different performers this past May. An aspect many guests enjoyed about this festival is the virtual and in-person aspect. Even if you weren’t able to be in-person to enjoy the performances, the virtual performances allowed the same amount of thrill and excitement as if you were there. Grandstand was happy to be a part of this inclusive festival!

Waking Windows (Vermont)

Waking Windows Music Festival featured 100+ bands, performers, and DJs at multiple venues. The app, one of the first released on our new, enhanced platform was convenient to those who attended the festival by allowing them to simply navigate the schedule, maps, photo filters, and the performer’s information.

Rocky Mountain Highway (Colorado)

For the past several years, Rocky Mountain Highway has always had a special place in people’s hearts because of their platform and how they use it. They support and bring awareness to live music by attracting people to support music artists. Rocky Mountain Highway is a year-round app making sure they’re always keeping their local fans up to date and this May, they used the app for the Medowgrass festival, a festival filled beautiful views of Pikes Peak, emerging musicians and music professionals, activities for kids, local vendors, and more!

Grandstand was thrilled to be a part of this festival in allowing guests to fully access tickets, schedules, vendors, and other information way before the actual date of the event.

Decatur Arts Alliance

Calling all art lovers! The Decatur Arts festival is a weekend filled with all art-related events. An art walk, artist's market, performances, and more!. The beauty of this festival is the encouragement towards business owners and young rising artists, and Grandstand was pleased to have had the opportunity to present this festival through our platform. The app was convenient as it provided a calendar, map, artists performing, and refreshments which all the guests appreciated and enjoyed. Guests also enjoyed a feature on the app where you could enter a giveaway to win free prizes using the Grandstand Forms!
